Description
The ASC must develop, implement and maintain an ongoing, data-driven quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI) program. The program must include an ongoing program that demonstrates measurable improvement in patient health outcomes. The ASC must document the projects that are being conducted. The documentation, at minimum, must include the reason (s) for implementing the project and a description of the projects results.
Written quality improvement study template that identify the problem, provide the solution and instructions on how to surveillance proper hand hygiene for operating room staff according to CDC Guidelines.
