Sterilization Competency

Description

Surgical Tech must be competent with the handling of instruments, supplies and equipment.  Evidence of competency must be conducted and evidenced on an annual basis.  Included are the Instrument & Wrapping Sterilization competency, Education on Instrument Sets, Inspection of Instruments and Cidex Competency.
